DCCCD Money Card Review

The DCCCD Money Card is a prepaid debit card that was designed to give students the financial freedom needed to make the purchases that they want, while also still paying for their education. Before the DCCCD Money Card was developed, you’d often have to wait in a long line to process your student loan refund check and then wait even longer for the bank to clear your check. Now with the DCCCD Money Card you can get the funds that you need faster to pay for things like your books, supplies, or rent for your dorm. The Dallas County Community College District has done a great service allowing students to use this money card.

You have three different options for accounts when you select your DCCCD Money Card. YOu can select the OneAccount which is FDIC Insured up to $250,000 that acts just like a regular checking account with no monthly fees. Or after you sign up for your OneAccount you can upgrade to a OneAccount Flex or OneAccount Premier. Between the three options you’re given flexibility depending on how you want to use the card. More information on the different fees and featured associated with each one of these plans can be found here.

DCCCD Money Card Balance

You have two different ways to check the balance of your DCCCD Money Card. You can login to your One Account using their online platform. This is the easiest way as you will be able to fully manage all of your funds and view all of your past transactions.

In the event that you have lost your password or username, it’s easy to recover this information. It’s important when creating a password that you use something secure and not easily guessed. I recommend trying something like the password card to store and keep all of your passwords safe.

You can call customer service 1-877-211-2694 (Hours of Operation Monday РFriday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern Time) for any other sort of assistance you may need with your card. There is also a full library of help material available online.
